We have just got back from a girlie pamper weekend. We were welcomed with a bottle of Proccesco, crisps, shortbread, milk, tea, coffee etc. Emaculately presented lodge, warm and stunning views. Bonus that the spa is within throwing distance. Definately will becoming back and with the hubby too. Oh and fabulous pub can be walked to 10mins away for dinner and breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a fabulously, gorgeous little place. I say little but it’s actually really spacious. It is well equipped with everything you need. Lovely little touches of snacks, bubbles, milk, coffee pods and tea! The views are stunning from the back garden. There are lovely local walks and there is a pub about a mile walk away. What more could you want! Definitely recommend. Stayed on 2nd February 2024

We stayed at the Lodge for a weekend in summer and enjoyed it very much. It was beautifully kitted out and clean. The setting was very peaceful with horses nearby, with the added luxury of a Spa next door! Had breakfast at a local pub in Great Dunmow, just a short walk away via footpaths.

This place is a wonderful place to stay, it’s full of character with its fabulous beams and Cosy feel even though the place is very spacious. No expense has been spared in doing the place up and there are lots of little added touches to it which I didn’t expect .The kitchen has all the mod cons you could want ! The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate and again provide more than you expect. There is also a fantastic outdoor area which is so serene by day and magical by night if you want to wrap yourself in one of the many blankets provided and watch the starry night ! Plenty of information given on the locality and a welcome pack to enjoy straight away ! The only problem I have is deciding to make a return visit with my husband or group of girls ! Enjoy !
