Myself my partner and our children stayed Friday-Sunday, but our train suddenly got cancelled on Sunday at 3:15pm and we was due to travel home at 4:30, so we stayed another night. ||Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and the room was excellent!

The hotel is very clean, fresh and modern looking. The staff are very helpful, friendly and delivered great service. Nothing was too much for them, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend. Thanks

Lovely hotel, staff were friendly and willing to help with anything. Excellent for airport. Great prices! Lots of nearby takeaway places if you don't fancy eating in the hotel.

Lovely staff, very welcoming, room was very clean. Thank you for a great stay again. We will be back next time we are in the area. Location is good and close to the a120 into Braintree and back to Stansted airport

We've used this hotel twice now having flown from Scotland and visiting London. It's well placed, quiet andvery clean with attentive staff a good bar area and nice food. Probably the best Travelodge I've stayed in.

Very quiet location, lovely clean room however bed was a little uncomfortable but for the price paid was good value. Receptionist was very welcoming and warm on arrival (late at night). Breakfast was okay and a good variety of choice. Would return if staying that way again.

Booked a room for two nights to stay in for my cousins wedding. When first entering the room they looked well kept and clean everything was neat and tidy. However there were only 4 plugs and no USB or plug Sockets anywhere near the beds which I find ridiculous in this day and age. Aside from that the unlimited breakfast was nice and the dinners were decent at best not much choice dinner wise which makes sense since its only really bar food like pizzas and burgers. The reception/bar staff were the best part of this experience as they were really friendly and understanding and went above and beyond for guests.

Although we used this Travelodge as a stay over for a wedding we found it to be basic and not equipped for our stay. The food menu was very basic and did not offer much of a choice, understandable it is bar food but being our base to return, there are little other food establishments nearby. Breakfast however was very nice and more than adequate. We were in a disabled room which again was basic but the only downside was we slept on what felt like two separate mattresses which made it uncomfortable. We booked here as we had dogs as well. On walking the dogs outside I found no bin to put their poop bags into in fact no outside bin at all which is very disappointing and embarrassing when I have to approach reception to let them know I had to leave the bag outside. Rooms: Basic although very spacious disabled shower / toilet. Food & drinks: Very basic bar food Noteworthy details: No bin outside for car or dog rubbish

The service was great! But the rooms weren't that clean - I could see toenails and dust between the fold out bed. Find it very strange that there aren't any plug sockets next to the bed to charge your phone? The bathroom was bog-standard with an ancient shower curtain. The food wasn't the best either. But the staff were lovely and went above about beyond.
